Share-Net International Co-Creation Conference 2022 held in Bogota, Colombia

The team of Share-Net Bangladesh has participated at the Share-Net International Co-Creation Conference being held in Bogota, Colombia.

In 2022, Share-Net International (SNI) has organised its third International Co-creation Conference (CCC), “Engaging in Knowledge Translation Together”, together with Share-Net Colombia. This was a hybrid working conference where participants will work together to create concrete knowledge products that will be used to influence policy and practice at national, regional and/or global level. All participants, including researchers, practitioners, and policy makers from the 7 hubs of Share-Net International have engaged in dialogue and discussed on co-creation process of their SRHR knowledge products.

Along with Share-Net Bangladesh secretariat, Tasnia Ahmed from SERAC Bangladesh has joined as a speaker and participant at the conference. She has been selected by the panel after several rounds of a competitive process for her contribution towards SRHR in Bangladesh. She has talked about access to quality information on SRHR in Bangladesh and its challenges & opportunities for field level implications.

During the final sessions of the CCC, SNI launched their call for grants to finalise these knowledge products. Throughout the seminar, it has been realised that generating and managing quality information in the field of SRHR considering principles such as knowledge translation, advertising, and accessibility, according to the characteristics and capabilities of people, ICTs increase the extent of information, poses quite a challenge. Share-Net International and all its stakeholders have decided to work on coming up with sustainable solutions to face these challenges in the coming years.
